Ennis-Flint Announces Acquisition of TCP

Ennis-Flint Acquires TCP

Thomasville, NC, Ennis-Flint APAC June 10, 2014

Ennis-Flint is proud to announce the acquisition of the Australian coloured surfacing specialists, TCP. With operating facilities in Melbourne and Brisbane, TCP has been a cornerstone of the Australian coloured surfacing market for more than 35 years.

Speaking of the transaction, Ian Cocoran of Ennis-Flint said, “TCP is an excellent acquisition for us. The business has developed a tremendous presence in the Australian coloured surfacing market. It has great products, great IP and will be an ideal platform for us to extend the Ennis-Flint brand. Existing customers of TCP and Ennis-Flint stand to gain a number of benefits from this acquisition and I am really looking forward to taking our combined value-proposition to the market.”

Bill Gorman of TCP said, “In every aspect of life there comes a time and a need for change. That need has become self-evident for my business partner, Jack Mitchell and myself, as I approach my 80th year. We are pleased to have made a worthwhile contribution to the Roadmarking Industry and in turn are appreciative of the loyalty and support we have had from our many customers over the last 35+ years. A heartfelt “Thanks and Good Luck” to all of you. I am of the firm belief that this decision will benefit the industry and provide bigger opportunities for everyone involved”.

Cocoran expects the manufacturing operations of TCP to be integrated with the existing Ennis-Flint infrastructure in Australia/New Zealand by the end of 2014.
