The Ennis-Flint Glass Bead Plantcelebrated on Thursday its achievement of four years without lost time from an accident. The employees' focus on the safety of drivers and maintaining a safe work environment to produce reflective materials for road stripes has been strong. The four years covers from May 8, 2012 to May 8, 2016.
“This is only possible thanks to our great team of 30 employees daily participating in safety procedures in the plant,” said manager Tony Wade. “We look forward to zero deaths on the road and zero accidents in the plant.”
Ennis-Flint is the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of pavement marking materials, including an extensive variety of reflective glass beads, each passing exacting DOT, governmental and state regulations.
Using state-of-the-art technology, Ennis-Flint produces three standards of retro-reflectivity in its customized beads, as well as various sizes and standards for each state and country specification.
